My first smart phone was a Motorola Q9 but Motorola for two year stopped selling smart phones and Microsoft did nothing with Window Mobile.

So I went with the Apple iPhone, it allowed me to cut back one device i need not carry the iPod and the phone just the iPhone but I the long run it did not work that way. The iPhone has 32G of memory and I was always finding I had the movie I want or the sone I want at home. So I went back to carrying two devices. Then Apple became the overseer of iTunes made stupid rules on what got in what stayed out, the whole Flash thing.

Apple tells you no content on the internet is Flash, try to play here with no Flash or my favorite game eRepublik. Then they said well it run bad? All other devices support Flash no problem?

Of course the there is the latest hold your iPhone this way joke.

So I ditched the iPhone.

Currently I am on Android. The same company that did nothing for two years "Motorola" has several devices, HTC, Samsung etc.....
There are dozens of device to pick from and competition is keeping the product fresh and new. Rather than the iPhone here is you one product come back next year.

I think Android is the future.

What are your thoughts?

My first smart phone was the original iPhone. I have had every iPhone since except for the 3GS because that was a pretty weak upgrade. I currently have the iPhone 4 and was lucky enough to not have the Deathgrip problem. I've played around with Android a bit and I like it but still just like the way my iPhone is once its Jailbroken. Cant wait till the Jailbreak for this thing is released.

I think Android is going to be a big player in the future, the only thing that I think they have done that I didnt like was some phones get the updates while others dont. I know in some cases its a hardware thing but it just seems to obsolete phones to quickly.

It is just the speed of the growth.
This is good thing things move quickly get better and better.

I have a Nexus-One, Google stopped selling them online but it is not a bad Android for 2010.
Now they say by the end of 2010 there will be a 2Gig Android device my Nexus One will look slow in 6 months.

Tell me you try to go to the arcade and play a flash game on you iPhone?
Of course it tells you Flash is missing.

Me I can play the Flash Version of Pacman on boards like this and I do not need to go to iTunes and pay for the game. I suggest this is the only problem Apple has with Flash.

I was going to get an iPhone 4 but to me it be the same old OS, and I was getting bored.

Yea, I think having flash on my phone should be my choice, not the manufacturer. Granted, I am not sure I would play games on it but it would be nice to know I have that option. I had actually looked at getting a Nexus One when they first came about but at the time it was T-Mo only and there coverage here is not so good.

I like that there are multiple platforms evolving now. I think its going to give the consumer a better experience in the long run.
